About the Job

As a Sr. Automation Engineer, you will steer our testing initiatives to new heights. As a Sr. Automation Engineer, you’ll take the lead in designing, implementing, and overseeing our quality assurance processes. Your expertise will drive a culture of excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that exceeds expectations.

What you’ll do

• Help design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks
• Create, maintain, and execute automation scripts within a framework
• Responsible for implementing quality assurance and testing services to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end user requirements
• Create, maintain, write and execute test plans and test cases to ensure adequate product testing prior to implementation
• Participating in bug life cycle processes including identifying, documenting and following through on bugs through resolution.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on quality assurance experience with solid understanding and experience in SQA methodologies, techniques and approaches.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS/Kubernetes
• Experience with MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular and Node.js)
• Experience writing intermediate JavaScript using Cypress.io, DOM interactions, intermediate functions

Required Skills / Certifications

• Experience with Selenium/Java
• Experience with Python/Pytest
• Experience in infrastructure tools like AWS/Kubernetes
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance and extend existing automation frameworks, create original automated scripts, and assess current scripts for improvements while effectively connecting related concepts.
• Intermediate experience working with automated build processes and tools
• In-depth understanding of source control tools, such as Subversion, Git

Preferred Skills / Certifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or closely related field

Security clearance

• You must be able to obtain a security clearance (Secret or higher) – US Citizenship required

COMPENSATION

• $55,000-$125,000 per year based on skills, experience
