As the DevSecOps for US AI, you are an enthusiastic practical-minded professional. Willing to do whatever it takes to deliver the best work possible; you are passionate about DevSecOps. With an ability to handle a range of project types—some of them simultaneously—you excel at building solutions, managing project deliverables on tight deadlines and are always up for a challenge. What you’ll do

  • Gather requirements, design, codify, integrate, and implement secure solutions that support business functionality as well as the underlying cloud native infrastructure required to run and deploy those solutions.
  • Deploying Kubernetes cluster for hosting applications and assisting with cloud automation scripts in using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Apply secure development/coding to include but not limited to, cloud technology, internet servers, application whitelisting, virtualized containers, web-enabled database applications, network security, security engineering, data integrity, intrusion detection, firewall management, forensic and legal information security, virtual private networks, public key/infrastructure/digital signatures, encryption, and network security architecture.
  • Coordinate with teams across the enterprise on the migration of existing IT services to the cloud; identify security technical requirements, potential issues, and participate in agile software development teams.
  • Participate in network and system design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security policies, designs and implement systems security and data assurance.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering, math or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience of prior relevant software or DevSecOps engineering
  • Demonstrated history of deliverables for both public and private sector clients
  • Experience creating CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
  • Experience with building applications using NodeJS, Python, Angular, Go, and C++.
  • Hands on experience with Kubernetes, including EKS, GKE, and AKS
  • Previous professional experience with performing integrated quality assurance testing for security functionality and resiliency to attacks

Required Skills / Certifications

  • You must have at least one of the following certifications: CEH, CISSP, CSSLP, GPEN, OSCP, AWS Solutions Architect, RHSA, GXPN, GWAP
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle models and agile programming methodologies
  • Innate ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures such as NIST, FISMA, FedRamp, and Common Criteria regulations and standards
  • Some knowledge of encryption algorithms, secure communications, network and data communication protocols

Preferred Skills / Certifications

  • Master’s degree in a technical discipline or related field
  • AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps certification, RHCE
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Developer
  • Orchestration of Cloud Infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code)

Security clearance

  • You must be able to obtain a security clearance (Secret or higher) – US Citizenship required

COMPENSATION

  • $55,000-$125,000 per year based on skills, experience
